As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel’s infrastructure and facilities.
Job Description
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring they are functioning at optimal levels.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the engineering team, including technicians and maintenance staff, to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively address potential issues and minimize downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot any malfunctions or problems within the hotel’s systems, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure the seamless integration of engineering services with the overall hotel operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations within the engineering department.
- Participate in the planning and execution of renovation or upgrade projects, providing technical expertise and oversight.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the hotel’s operational efficiency.
Position and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality or facilities management industry.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, technical expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach.
